Location : New York, NY (Remote)
Rate:$65/hr - $70/Hr on C2C.
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Architect with strong expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), PaaS integrations, and enterprise cloud delivery, along with practical exposure to SaaS security and identity management. The role requires leading end-to-end cloud architecture, integration design, migration, and delivery, while supporting secure access and compliance practices across SaaS platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture & Solution Design
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance architectures on OCI (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Define architecture standards for cloud-native and hybrid solutions.
- Lead cloud transformation and modernization initiatives.
- Drive solutioning, architecture governance, and technical decision-making.
OCI Platform Engineering
- Architect and manage:
- Compute, DBCS, ATP, storage services.
- Networking components (VCN, subnets, load balancer, DNS, WAF).
- Implement high availability, DR, and failover strategies across regions.
- Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Integration & PaaS Architecture
- Lead enterprise integration initiatives using:
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- VBCS, Oracle Functions, AI Agent Studio
- Design integration solutions across:
- Oracle ERP/HCM/EPM SaaS and third-party applications
- Define secure and scalable integration patterns (REST, SOAP, FTP, DB adapters)
SaaS Security & Identity (Supporting Role)
- Implement and support:
- IDCS-based identity and access management (IAM)
- SSO integrations with Azure AD and SaaS applications
- Configure:
- OAuth authentication, federation, and role-based access control
- Ensure adherence to security policies, encryption standards (PGP), and access governance
Cloud Migration & Transformation
- Lead and execute:
- EBS on-prem to OCI migration programs
- SaaS/PaaS modernization and multi-environment migrations
- Define cutover strategies, migration frameworks, and testing approaches
Delivery Leadership & DevOps
- Lead large-scale delivery programs supporting enterprise SaaS/PaaS environments (multi-region, multi-env)
- Build and implement DevOps automation for integration objects and cloud deployments
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure timely, high-quality delivery
Innovation & AI Enablement
- Drive adoption of:
- Oracle AI Agent Studio and Digital Assistant use cases
- Build AI-driven solutions such as:
- Data retrieval agents
- Compliance assistant use cases
Required Skills & Experience:
Core Experience
- 15+ years of IT experience with strong exposure to:
- Cloud architecture
- Integration platforms
- Enterprise application delivery
Technical Expertise
OCI & Cloud
- OCI services:
- Compute, ATP/DBCS, networking, security constructs
- Experience across all pillars:
- IaaS, PaaS, SaaS
Integration & PaaS
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- VBCS, Oracle Functions, AI Agent Studio.
- Experience with REST/SOAP/API-driven integrations.
SaaS Platforms
- Oracle ERP Cloud / Fusion Applications.
- Exposure to HCM, SCM, EPM integrations.
SaaS Security (Working Knowledge)
- IDCS (Identity Cloud Service).
- SSO, OAuth, and federation (Azure AD integration.
- Encryption and secure communication practices.
Leadership & Soft Skills
- Strong experience in technical delivery management and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and large transformation programs.
- Strong communication and solutioning mindset.
