Role Overview\n

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payments Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong domain knowledge in payments systems, transaction processing, and financial services, with the ability to bridge business requirements and technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities\nGather, analyze, and document business requirements for payment solutions\nCollaborate with stakeholders to define functional specifications and workflows

Work closely with technology teams to design and implement payment processing systems

Conduct gap analysis and propose improvements to existing payment platforms\nSupport UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure solutions meet business needs

Provide domain expertise in cards, digital payments, SWIFT, WIRE, ACH, ISO 20022 standards\nEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices\

Must-Have Skills\nStrong knowledge of payments domain (domestic & international)\nExperience with payment systems (SWIFT, SEPA,WIRE, ACH, ISO 20022)\nAbility to create BRD, FRD, user stories, process flows\nHands-on experience with requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and documentation

Familiarity with transaction lifecycle, clearing & settlement processes\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nNice-to-Have Skills

Exposure to digital wallets, UPI, instant payments\nExperience with Agile/Scrum methodology\nKnowledge of banking regulations and compliance frameworks\nUnderstanding of API-based payment integrations\n\n

• i)experience as a Business Analyst in banking, payments, or fintech\n\n•

(ii)Hands-on experience with Real-Time Payments (RTP) platforms - e.g., The Clearing House RTP, FedNow, or similar\n\n•

(vi)Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills\n\n•

 (vii)Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies\n\n•

(i)Experience with payment gateway integration, banking APIs, or core banking systems\n\n•

(iii)Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or Lucidchart
