Job Title: Senior Generative AI Engineer (10+ Years only)

Location: Houston, TX or Frisco, TX (Hybrid) 

Experience Level: Senior (Self-driven / Independent)

Rate: $63/hr

 

Role Overview:

We are seeking a high-caliber Senior AI Engineer to design, develop, and optimize cutting-edge Agentic AI solutions. This is not a "plug-and-play" developer role; we need a resource with a strong data analysis mindset who can independently evaluate model performance and implement advanced fine-tuning techniques to drive superior business outcomes. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of LLM implementation, from infrastructure configuration (GPU/CUDA) to building complex agentic workflows.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Model Development & Orchestration: Build and deploy sophisticated AI agents using LangChain and LangFlow, integrating both proprietary (OpenAI, Gemini) and open-source models (Llama 3, Mistral).
• Fine-Tuning & Optimization: Perform fine-tuning on Hugging Face models to align AI behavior with specific business domains.
• RAG Architecture: Design and maintain scalable Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems using FAISS, vector databases, and Cosine Similarity for high-precision data retrieval.
• Infrastructure Management: Configure and optimize GPU/CUDA environments on Linux systems to ensure high-performance model inference and training.
• Data-Driven Tuning: Analyze model outputs and datasets to iteratively improve accuracy, reduce hallucinations, and enhance the "taste" of the data for better business logic.

 

Technical Requirements:

• Core AI/LLM: Deep expertise in Hugging Face, Ollama, Llama, and Mistral.
• Frameworks: Mastery of Agentic AI patterns, LangChain, and LangFlow.
• Search & Retrieval: Practical knowledge of Sentence Transformers, Vector DBs, and similarity search algorithms.
• Programming: Advanced Python development skills.
• Systems: Hands-on experience with Linux administration and GPU/CUDA setup/configuration.
• Analysis: Strong ability to conduct data analysis for model tuning and performance benchmarking.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
• Strong communication skills to bridge the gap between technical AI constraints and business requirements.
• Proven track record of moving AI projects from "Proof of Concept" to "Production."
