Job Title: Senior Engineer - Cloud & Infra Management

Work Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)

Rate: $60/hr on C2C

 

Job Description

A Cloud Infra Engineer with 15 years of experience is responsible for the overall design, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructures. This includes developing, documenting, and maintaining a cloud strategy to ensure the reliability, scalability, and availability of cloud services. The Cloud Infra Engineer is also responsible for identifying and resolving performance and capacity issues, as well as providing technical guidance and leadership to other members of the cloud team. The Cloud Infra Engineer must be well versed in Azure infra services, such as compute, storage, networking, and security. The Engineer must also be familiar with cloud architectures, such as hybrid, public, and private cloud. Additionally, the Engineer must have a deep understanding of cloud technologies, such as containers, serverless, and microservices. The Engineer should also be comfortable working with DevOps tools, such as Ansible and Terraform. The Cloud Infra Engineer must be able to analyze and assess customer requirements, and plan and implement solutions based on those requirements. The Engineer must also be able to troubleshoot problems and investigate and resolve issues in a timely manner. The Engineer must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to collaborate with other teams. The Engineer must also be able to effectively document and present their solutions. Below listed are must for Cloud Infra Operation Support:

 

  • 5+ Years of IaaS and PaaS hands on experience
  • work independently with Customers, Organizing meetings with multiple teams to troubleshoot incidents
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams (Cyber, Networking, Database, Architect) in implementing Azure solutions,
  • Designing and Implementing in Disaster Recovery solutions
  • Managing workload of Offshore resources
  • Conducting daily Operations meetings
  • creating weekly status reports and presenting to customer leadership team
  • Identifying continuous improvement opportunities to build effective customer relationship
  • Knowledge of Azure Monitoring, IT Service Management and ServiceNOW knowledge is must
  • Azure Virtual Machine workload creation using Terraform or Ansible scripts or Manually building
  • Azure Windows Server Maintenance (such as patching, troubleshooting issues, decommission)
  • Azure PaaS SQL Workload Management
  • Azure Security Center and Infrastructure Management.
  • Azure resource Cost Optimization
  • On-Premise workload migration to Azure Cloud
  • Multi Cloud Platform is a plus.
