Senior PeopleSoft Solutions Architect
Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid – 50% Onsite Required)--Need LOCAL candidate
Visa: No H1B
Duration: 6+ month

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have strong PeopleSoft implementation experience along with expertise in enterprise architecture, technical solution design, interoperability strategies, and SDLC processes.

 

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or related technical field preferred
• 10+ years of relevant IT experience
• Strong PeopleSoft implementation experience
• Experience designing enterprise-level technical solutions
• Ability to identify technical options and implementation strategies beyond standard PeopleSoft configurations
• Experience developing SDLC artifacts and technical documentation
• Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills

 

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in finalizing business, functional, and technical requirements
• Document legacy system architecture as needed
• Design strategies to improve interoperability of existing PeopleSoft systems
• Develop technical solutions to reduce customization complexity within PeopleSoft
• Create solutions for business requirements not efficiently addressed through PeopleSoft
• Participate in prototype and proof-of-concept activities
• Identify opportunities to streamline interfaces between PeopleSoft and other systems
• Develop future-state architecture aligned with enterprise standards and security requirements
• Support project planning, sprint planning, and workstream sequencing
• Develop SDLC documentation and technical artifacts
• Support governance and project management initiatives through technical analysis and reporting
• Prepare reports and presentations for technical recommendations and proof-of-concept findings
