Shanghai Sangamam welcomes all of you to celebrate Onam. Onam is the biggest and the most important festival of the state of Kerala. It is a harvest festival and is celebrated with joy and enthusiasm all over the state by people of all communities. According to a popular legend, the festival is celebrated to welcome King Mahabali, whose spirit is said to visit Kerala at the time of Onam.

The celebration of Onam in Shanghai is on 5th September 2009, at ----------------(Venue/time as decided earlier)

 

Please keep your calendars blocked for 5th September and enjoy the fun filled entertainments, informative audio visuals, etc and to top it all, a delicious authentic banana leaf Kerala cusine with Avial, Pradaman etc etc of mouth watering delicacies will be served.
