Dear Colleagues,

An organization promoting access to low income housing is seeking a
consultant to assist the organization come up with a training program
on the rights based approach to housing development.

The assignment

The consultant is expected to:

To structure a training program that looks at housing and its
contribution to human development, incorporating the Rights discourse
within the context of access to basic services.

The consultant should demonstrate their understanding of :

· The regional and international legal instruments and protocols on
the right to housing
· The Zimbabwe Housing Policy Framework
· The operating environment in terms of access to low income housing
· The forces that hinder people from accessing affordable housing
· The community pragmatic approaches in exercising the right to
housing.

Interested organizations/ individuals are requested to
· submit their proposals together with CVs of the individuals who
will undertake the assignment
· Indicate budget in Zim Dollars
