Building a phenomenon...

Hello colleagues and friends,

I just wanted to let the group know that I have been working on
assembling the website for SAHRI. With the current technology, there
are a lot of exciting things I look forward to building into the site.
I am hoping to build something like MyYahoo to where you, our
supporter/collaborator would have access to robust
information/research tools.
Right now I am building the infrastructure of the website and
meeting with Biren to figure out the best infrastructural needs for
the organization. Hopefully the website will convey the principles and
philosophy of SAHRI in a very transparent manner.
I want to thank our early supporters and collaborators on this
project. I am proud to be of South Asian (South Indian to be exact)
descent. Our culture, religion and historical achievements are awesome
in scope. I hope that we can build SAHRI into a phenomenon that will
help the people in and from our region build a successful state of
health as they have in industry, business and medicine.
I am hoping to have things in up in the next several weeks. There
are a lot (I mean a lot ) of neat things to be done, and we are trying
to grasp the power of technology and help put that into your hands. It
is in that event (at least my hope anyway) that you will then 'carry
the ball forward' and help build greatness into this evolving
organization.

I thank you for your patience and welcome any and all suggestions and
commentary on my observations.
