I just wanted you to inform you of our first Executive Board meeting.

I would also like to announce two projects that we are starting.
1. Osteoporosis in South Asians - Dr. Kothari is interested and is
doing a study of Osteoporosis epidemiology in South Asians (more
information to follow on the weblog on Osteoporosis as well as the
http://sahri.pbwiki.com site).
2. Diabetes Education - we would like to first find out the resources
available, and then work on constructing the right message, and
marketing the message.
I hope you will contribute your ideas on the weblog at
http://sahri.org.
We also would encourage you to pass the information on this
organization to your colleagues, friends and family. We want to
establish a network of physicians, commmunity resources etc.
