SNS members & allies - please join us (and ally orgs Pinay sa Seattle and Khmer in Action) to march in the Pride Parade this Sunday 6/29.  we are gathering 11-11:30 am at 4th & Columbia.  we will be drumming and would welcome extra drummers - even if you've never drummed before, it's cool, you can do it! and it's fun!

Hi Khmer in Action (KIA), Sahngnoksoo, and Pinay sa Seattle,

Are folks still down for rolling together.  Trikone and Entre Hermanos have lots of music and themes that they have been planning for... so new options below. I am sending this email out at the request of Alanna Martin (she is the lead person for Pinay sa Seattle on pride stuff) along with Geene Gonzales (they are cc'd above).  I am just connecting everyone.....   

update on Pride March on Sunday...is that there is an option of marching with March for Marriage Equality-Seattle Pride 2009 (http://wamarriage.org/) and Queer Ally Coalition (QAC) (http://queerallycoalition.org/), and Join the Impact (http://jointheimpact.wetpaint.com/).... I know Joe Mirabella from Join the Impact and Chanan from QAC... worked witht them on various projects.  I called Chanan and the meetings are below and he is wondering if someone can go to represent us there either Monday or Tuesday?  He said they would be down for the drumming and Pinay's lovely flags and KIA can carry own banner, he will be making sure and checking in with folks about us today at their meeting. Chanan and Joe are cc'd on this email.  What do people think?  How many folks per group? Besides that Dyke March on Saturday.....
