Starting a separate thread for this and adding a few folks who are around but may not be on this email.

How about we say 4pm at Greenwood Park this Friday, with those who need to come later coming as they can (like me)? Please let us know who plans to come so no one is sitting there alone!

so who's coming today? we'll definitely be there! i'm wondering if we should meet AWAY from the bocce ball court. frankie loves playing in it and the red brick dust turns her red from head to toe and stains her clothes like crazy. she will literally roll in it if we let her. she'll probably still want to gravitate over there but maybe if we meet on the other side and bring stuff for the kids to play with they will stay away!

Agree! I almost put my kids in the washer machine last time. It was a mess! If we meet at the left area from entrance  there are pebbles and rocks to play with. Maybe bring buckets for them to fill them up. That kept Sofia and Sierra entertained the other day.

What exactly is there to do for the kids?
Just wondering how to keep them busy.....

We are on the fence about coming. With camp half day, and the crazy heat, not sure if Dario will be in good shape in the afternoon.

H&E like to play with the rocks-so trucks, buckets, shovels make for lots of fun. It's kind of like a cooler sandbox :). They do get dusty, but not awful like the red dust!  H will also just sit at the table & color or draw. We also try to go to the area left of the entrance. Last time we were there, that seemed to be where most of the kids were anyway.

Ben plans to be there with EB + Orin! If I get out of work early I'm planning to join for the tail end too. Can't wait to see everyone :)

I am planning to go with my two older kids at least. Does anyone know if they're keeping the inside area air conditioned? If not, will have to leave baby at home.

Good tips on toys to bring. Do they have any outdoor water there?

I'm sorry but I'm not going to be able to make it after all. Sierra kept me awake last night from 11 to 2:30am and then woke up this morning at 5:30am. So I'm pretty exhausted and in a cranky mood. I was really looking forward to a get together. I promise to come next time...
