Muse India is a literary web journal dedicated to Indian literature. It showcases Indian Writings in English and translations from regional literatures of India. The Sep-Oct 2008 Issue of Muse India is uploaded and can be viewed at www.museindia.com. It presents a whiff of modern writings in Marathi literature. Hemant Divate, the noted Marathi poet and editor of the special section, presents short fiction and poetry of master writers, punctuated by contemporary themes and modern idiom. Eminent writers featured include Dilip Chitre and Vilas Sarang.
The Issue also features Contemporary Telugu Poetry. Dr T S Chandra Mouli, the Guest Editor took pains, at short notice, to put together the material that includes the works of celebrated poets Dasarathi and C Narayan Reddy. As a supplement to this special feature, our regular section of Fiction is dedicated to Telugu short stories. Several new writers are introduced in the other sections of the Issue.
