Hello All,

I just wanted to share a quick update on the Resource Mapping System
(RMS) project IFRC (International Federation of Red Cross and Red
Crescent Societies) is doing with AidIQ using Sahana Eden.

We had a kick-off workshop in Hanoi, Vietnam last week where we
presented the RMS to representatives from 10 different Red Cross and
Red Crescent national societies from Asia and Pacific regions. The
feedback was really positive and we are now working towards getting
RMS implemented in the national societies throughout the Asia Pacific
Region.

We are really pleased we were able to jump start the development of
RMS due to the big amount of useful existing functionality in Sahana
Eden and therefore are happy to contribute back to the overall Sahana
Eden development by releasing all of the functionality built for IFRC
to the main Eden trunk where it is found useful.
