Eden email settings

Dear All,

I have the following settings in models/000_config.py:

settings.mail.server = "smtp.gmail.com:587"

settings.mail.tls = True

settings.mail.login = "my gmail ID:my password"

settings.mail.sender = "'IRSP' <my gmail ID>"

But when I create new user the system prompt something like unable to send email. What i am doing wrong?

I have eden-stable with Postgres, Cherokee on debian.

After making the change, did you 'compile prod'?

This is needed for Production systems (/usr/local/bin/compile)

Is that gmail account set to allow legacy apps?
They secured it so by default you can't :/

Also check if you're Firewalling that port outbound (should be OK, but
you never know)

Thanks Fran it was off after turning it on email is working now.
