Hi,

I have been recently lurking around open source projects when I came across projects from sahana foundation and developed keen interest in contributing to the org.

After going through the project ideas, I'm eager to improve the existing toolkit to deploy Sahana .

After going through the wiki for current deployment tools, I've found work done by Gaurav Narula in last year GSOC "Deployment Tools for Sahana Eden" which invloved deploying Sahana eden on remote machine through Fabric and which can be configured through a web interface.

In extension to this, I would like to enquire about using Docker to deploy Sahana-eden. Has this work been done or is it still in the pipeline ?

Regards,
Rita Sinha

A Docker file for Dev/Testing is available here:
https://github.com/flavour/eden/blob/master/Dockerfile

As the README says, this could usefully be extended to support
Production environments with a real database (MySQL or PostgreSQL) &
WebServer (Apache/mod_WSGI or Cherokee/UWSGI):
https://github.com/flavour/eden/blob/master/README_DOCKERFILE.md
