One more important note:

The short version:  Tomorrow will be our last Tuesday at Rockin' Tomato.  Starting August 4, SAGN will be moving over to Tribe's big, new location, in the same complex as Rockin' Tomato on the side of the complex with Torchy's.  Tribe is running a Local Lift crowdfunding campaign to help finance the move, and is offering some awesome backer rewards to contributors.

The longer version:

SAGN was started nearly six years ago by the owners of Tribe Comics and Games because they wanted to build the south Austin gaming community, but didn't have room in their store to do so.  In that time, SAGN has grown to be one of the biggest gaming communities in central Texas, featuring the best, nicest, and welcoming gamers around.  Tribe has been a sponsor of SAGN for all that time, donating demo games and providing support to SAGN.

Starting August 1, Tribe will move into their brand new store, which is over twice the size of its current space.  Most of that new space is dedicated to providing game tables, allowing them to finally be able to run in-store events.  So starting next Tuesday, August 4th, SAGN will be moving over to Tribe's new location at 3005 S. Lamar.  This is the exact same shopping center as Rockin' Tomato.  With your back to Lamar, Tribe will be on the right hand corner of the complex, across from Kerbey Lane and just down the walk from Torchy's.

Tuesday nights will be dedicated to board gaming at Tribe, and Sunday features open gaming.  So SAGN's schedule remains unchanged, just the location.  Moving over to Tribe will allow SAGN to go later, and the entire SAGN library will be available every week.  Rockin' Tomato has been an amazing host for the past several years, and they'll be happy to deliver pizza to SAGN on Tuesdays at our new location.

Tribe is also running a crowdfunding campaign to help pay for the big expenses of moving.  Check out their campaign over on Local Lift to see the supercool backer rewards being offered.  A few of my favorites are being able to name one of the new game tables, host your very own game night in the store, and the big one of getting 40% off for life.

And if you're looking to get more gaming and fun into your life, Like Tribe on Facebook to learn when they'll be running events for Magic, Dungeons and Dragons, Warhammer, Doctor Who screenings, X-Wing, comic discussion, and other awesome events.
