Protospiel South: Next Weekend!

Yo, SAGNites.  In case you didn't know, Austin is an amazing board gaming community.  But it's not just players; we have a ton of great designers here, too.  Add in the cool folks from Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, etc, and Texas is a fantastic place with board games being created all the time.  One of the biggest parts of designing a game is the playtesting, and it just so happens that next weekend is Protospiel South.  Protospiel South is put on by local designer Jonathan "THE STORM" Leistiko, and is a way for designers to meet each other as well as players with the goal of making their games better.  Make them better how?  Through play, of course!

You'll get to come out, play games still in development, give feedback to the designer, and have fun doing it.  Playtesting takes gameplay to a different level of thought, and is a ton of fun.  You should do it!

Protospiel South will be next weekend, May 25th and 26th, taking place at the Best Western Atrium North just off 183 and 35.  There's also an informal gathering on the evening of the 24th, so that's three days of gaming and discussion.  More information and pre-registration is on the website:  http://www.protospielsouth.com/  Price is the very fair "pay what you will" rate, so you choose how much the convention is worth to you.  (But, please, kick Jonathan over a little something; I can attest that running a convention is neither easy nor cheap!)
