Update on "Key has expired" issue (video playback from recordings browser)

Hi all,

Just a brief update, Boxee issue http://jira.boxee.tv/browse/BOXEE-10848 has been fixed in the latest RC firmware for Boxee (v1.2.1.20426, released on 10/4). I've confirmed that this is indeed fixed...

HOWEVER, we're now on to the next bug namely, http://jira.boxee.tv/browse/BOXEE-11423 -- which is that SMB password protected shares cannot be accessed by 3rd-party apps.

The work around remains the same, keep the SMB share with the SageTV recordings accessible via guest/everyone (read-only is fine).

The good news is that it appears that the root cause has been determined pretty quickly and I'm hopeful it will be fixed before the final release of v1.2.x.

On the less than good news side, it doesn't look like anyone is looking at the live tv (open/growing files) playback issue (http://jira.boxee.tv/browse/BOXEE-11353).
