Sounds like a good idea, since anything with divisors, etc. should use
this class.

I think there are now over 5 people who have tried to "rewrite abelian
groups" in Sage and failed to reach the summit. We were telling
Soroosh Yazdani about this last week, and he admitted that even he too
had tried to rewrite abelian groups in Sage.
