Teacher Appreciation Week

Hi,

 

I couldn't make the meeting last week but I was wondering if any decisions had been made about Teacher Appreciation Week.  I can help if you will let me know what the plan is.

Hi,
I've been trying to find someone that attended the meeting too.
 
I called Randi Shear (spelling??)  She organized it last year and this is what they did
 
Monday - Muffins
Tuesday - Desserts
Wednesday - Soups and Bread
Thursday - she couldn't remember but how about "Everything Chocolate"
Friday - Cookies
 
We'll have to call in other parents we know to help with this so I can put together a spreadsheet that might be helpful or we could all just take a day to organize?  They also put together a small gift like a survival kit with a lifesaver etc...  Maybe we can come up with another idea?

When is Teacher Appreciation Week? Nothing was discussed at SV PTO
meeting. That is what was done last year. Randi did most of it.
Sounds like a plan.

Panic - Teacher appreciation week is NEXT week.
 
Attached is a spreadsheet with the dates and menu.  I will organize Wednesday for soup and bread.  I put my name on the list for the days I can bring things.  Please adjust the amount - I just guessed.  Randi did say that we needed 10 crock pots of soup.  We need to call other parents to help.  This is too much for just us so lets share the work. 
 
Does anyone have an idea for a small gift?  I'm not sure it is really necessary.

I only went to the meeting for about 5 minutes, as I was working the office for Administrative Assistants Day at Paintbrush.  I picked up the notes that Angie printed for our April meeting.  I have not returned them to the teacher's mail box yet, as life has gotten in the way.  Sorry for this delay!  They say....Thanks for the "roll" you play at Sage Valley with a tootsie roll attached.  I plan to take them in this week, but I can wait until next week, and take them Monday to kick off teacher appreciation week if the group would rather.  Please send some input!  

I can help with other items as well.  Let me know what is decided!  Thanks!
