Hi,

I just did a fresh install of Sage and it runs:

│ SageMath version 10.3, Release Date: 2024-03-19                    │
│ Using Python 3.10.12. Type "help()" for help.                      │

I'm on Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS, recently upgraded.  The upgrade was difficult and involved cleaning out a lot of packages.  Somehow it broke my sage (jupyter couldn't connect to kernel; but that is now working again with this install), and I was behind anyway, so I deleted the sage directory and started afresh from the latest stable source (without deleting .sage).  Upon running ptestlong, I had a wide variety of errors.  I'm attaching log files stripped of the successes, as suggested by the README.

Any advice or insight appreciated.  Do I need to reinstall?  Did something go wrong?

Thanks!
Kate

It appears  that  FriCAS - one of the packages - is broken.

Try reinstalling it, by running the following 3 commands

make fricas-clean fricas-uninstall
make fricas
make build
