PyWavelets won't install in Sage 5.0.1 64Bit App on MacOSX

I'm having no luck installing PyWavelets into my 64 bit Sage App on Mac OSX Snow Leopard.

I've tried to do a direct install of the python source, then  I tried the method from  'Using PyWavelets in Sage' by Marshall Hampton

here's the error I get using the command referenced there:

/Applications/Sage-5.0.1-OSX-64bit-10.6.app/Contents/Resources/sage/sage sage -i http://sage.math.washington.edu/home/mhampton/PyWavelets-0.2.0.p0.spkg; exit

/Applications/Sage-5.0.1-OSX-64bit-10.6.app/Contents/Resources/sage/local/bin/python: can't find '__main__' module in 'sage'

Can any one help.
