I have a sage server installed in a machine which is ubuntu 12.04 and the sagemath version is 5.0.1. Now I want to upgrade the sagemath version to the new one. However I don't know how to install the sagemath into the server if I format my machine for the fresh installation of ubuntu 18.04 and then installation of sagemath 8.7 by the source code (like the procedure of a local machine). So what is safest procedure for me for the upgrade of sagemath?
--Thanks
