sage notebook not working

Sage notebook has been working for me until yesterday. Then I ran notebook() in sage and got 

"localhost refuses to connect"

in the browser that pops up.

if you didn't change Sage in some way, it has to do with the state of your computer. You might need to log out and log in back, perhaps reboot your computer.
