Hi,

I'm trying to compile Sage 9.5 on a M1 Mac with MacOS Monterey 12.2.1
It is stopping the compile on sagelib-9.5 "failed with exit status 1"

Is there a solution?  I see that there are open tickets for supporting M1
https://trac.sagemath.org/ticket/30592
but I am hoping that there might be a solution for what is stopping my compile.

I'm attaching the config.log and sagelib-9.5.log files.

Thanks,
-Mike Zabrocki

You could try with dependencies from Conda:

I had not tried the Conda installation before.  That seems to have worked for Sage 9.4 and was a lot easier (and dozens of times faster) than previous times I have compiled Sage.

However for 9.5 I got the message:
Encountered problems while solving:
  - nothing provides pari >=2.13.3,<3 needed by sage-9.5-hd8ed1ab_0

Sage 9.4 will work fine for now.

Thank you,
-Mike
