Sage not opening

So I tried upgrading from sage 10.7 to 10.9 and I'm running into some sort of gap error, but I can't seem to localize what's happening (at least it seems like a gap error, I've added the logs/crash report as an attachment).

Sage seems to have installed correctly (make did everything ok) and the error only happens when I try and launch sage.

I have both gap3 and gap:

$ gap --version
GAP 4.14.0 built on 2025-09-11 14:12:33+0200

Gap3 is using the gap3-jm from http://webusers.imj-prg.fr/~jean.michel/gap3 and is called using `gap3`.

I'm installing sage in WSL (the linux distribution is ubuntu 24.04)

Any help is greatly appreciated. (I probably forgot to do something when I was upgrading, but I can't seem to remember/find what I'm doing wrong)
