The sage virtual appliance for sage-5.2 is here:

http://www.stp.dias.ie/~vbraun/Sage/sage-5.2.ova

I haven't tested it since I'm travelling, but the build script ran without problems. Please post if you encounter an issue. Harald, please add to the mirrors.

I've tried out the ova and there is one snag. The notebook now asks for a admin password at the first boot. So to use this version of the VM, you need to

1. import appliance and boot as usual,

2. Simultaneously press Right-Ctrl F8

3. Enter the admin password on the console running the notebook server

4. Press Right-Ctrl F2 to get back to the browser showing the notebook.

I'll post an updated version without this brain damage later.

It seems the new sage notebook in Sage-5.2 doesn't let you start without entering a password. I've opened a ticket at http://trac.sagemath.org/13318

Harald, can you put the previous sage-5.1.ova on the mirrors until this is sorted out?
