Hi!
Could somebody tell me why integrate(1/(x^10+1),x) returns the result
in terms of integrate again?
arctan(x)/5 - integrate((x^6 - 2*x^4 + 3*x^2 - 4)/(x^8 - x^6 + x^4 -
x^2
+ 1), x)/5
I am using 32-bit Linux Ubuntu.
Thanks,
Raj

Sage is unable to compute that integral explicitly or in terms of special functions.

Thanks for your reply Dr. Stein.
Could you please tell me if it is possible to integrate axiom into
sage? Axiom was able to evaluate this integral.
Thanks,
Raj

There are no plans to include Axiom standard in Sage.
