Hi SageMath community,
My name is Shanid Sajjatuz Islam, a 7th semester Computer Science student at BRAC University, Bangladesh. I'm interested in contributing to SageMath through GSoC 2026, specifically the "Improve integration with Mathics" project mentored by Rocky Bernstein.
My background is in Python, full-stack web development (React, TypeScript, Node.js), and working with Python libraries and interfaces. I'm currently exploring the SageMath codebase, particularly
mathics.py
and the existing Mathics3 integration.
