Dear Sage team,

My name is Alberto Almagro, a student at the Complutense University of Madrid, where I am in my fifth and last year of a Double Bachelor in Mathematics and Computer Science. I am highly experienced with Python, Github, and most Mathematics fields. I do not have Sage experience, but I have already cloned the repository and set up everything to work.

I would very much like to be considered for the "Dynamical Systems with Multiple Functions" or the "Algorithms for Dynamical Systems" projects, where I can apply my number theory knowledge.

I have looked at some of the current open issues in your Github repository, but I have not been able to identify one that is easy to fix, and I currently do not have much time to spend on difficult issues. However, it will be easy for me to contribute during June, July and August, since I will have finished my exams by then.

I am aware I need to present a GSoC Application Proposal, and I would like to contact Alex Galarraga and Ben Hutz (the mentors of the aforementioned project) to refine my application.

Best regards,
Alberto Almagro

Dear Alberto,

Thanks for your interest in contributing to SageMath.

Our "easy to fix" issues are supposed to be tagged "good first issue"
but it is not very much populated at the moment, see
https://github.com/sagemath/sage/labels/good%20first%20issue. I will
try to get more of them right now.

Best
Vincent

Hello everyone,

I am Sameeksha Agarwal, a current senior at Northview High School, GA. I am a beginner and have experience with Python, Java, and HTML. I am passionate about both computer science and mathematics and am looking to do research/work in the intersection of these two fields, which is why I am interested in working with SageMath this summer. More specifically, I would love to contribute to the "Improve (free) module implementations" project idea! Looking forward to getting started soon!

Thank you,
Sameeksha
