can't evaluate, linux, firefox 2.0.0.11, sage 2.10 (self compiled, and on-line)

(Sorry if this shows as a repost, my original post never appeared)
Just trying trivial:
2+2
1. <shift+enter> in cell, inserts a new line
2. clicking "evaluate" link below cell causes a refresh in the frame,
but there is no visible output, as if the command is not sent
There is no output to JS error console.
