dear all, I installed VM and sage appears to work just fine. However,
when use the plot command the plot does not show up? Any suggestions
on where to find it? It does not give me any errors....
Also, I have a huge folder with my data on the desktop of my computer.
How do I within a script "grab" the data from there? Also, which
editor do you suggest to use?
And just one more question: how do I save files (such as scripts) into
my actual computer?
THANKS to all

What operating system are you using? Are you using VirtualBox?
*Precisely* how are you using it? Are you ssh'ing into the virtual
machine use some windows client?

Dear William,
I have Windows 7. I just click Sage Math Software on my Sun Virtual Box. It gives a new window of Sage math Software - Sun Virtual Box. I then click "Sage Command Prompt" and it gives me "Sage Version 4.2...Type notebook() for the GUI..." It then proceeds with "sage:". At that line I tested some basic expression and they all appear to work....except that plot thing and other question addressed in my original plot....Any suggestions....THANKS.

There should be a little window that says something like:

Open http://192.168.1.51 in your web browser under Windows.

If you see that windows, open it in Firefox under Windows 7.

Also, WIlliam,
I heard this is not (i.e. through Firefox) a stable way to work? Is it right?
Bests,
Jenya
