binder and optional packages

I would like to know how to change Dockerfile in sage-binder-env to use optional packages. I was able to do it using conda but I I do not know how to upgrade of version in that case. Thanks, Enrique.

The sage-binder-env on the master and dev branches uses a docker image that contains a light-weight sage that has no capability of installing optional packages. 

The (old) conda-based sage-binder-env is still on the "lab" branch. You may use it to add optional packages. But I don't know if it still works as you expect. I do not maintain it.
