Building Sage on WSL fails on the first package

Hello,

I am trying to build Sage on WSL by following the instructions at

https://github.com/sagemath/sage/?tab=readme-ov-file#instructions-to-build-from-source

However, at Step 14 (typing 'make'), the build fails at the first package.

...

[spkg-build] make[5]: *** read jobs pipe: Bad file descriptor.  Stop.
[spkg-build] make[5]: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs....
[spkg-build] ************************************************************************************************************************
[spkg-build] Error building python3-3.12.5

...

As advised by the builder, I am sending you the log files.

Hi,
please give more details about your WSL environment. It appears from the log that you are trying to use Conda for this.
