Thanks to work by Tobias Diez, we now have a fully functional GitPod (https://www.gitpod.io/) development environment for Sage in the cloud.
GitPod runs Visual Studio Code (VS Code) in the web browser; but you can also connect it to VS Code running on the desktop.
