Hi,
thanks for the report - indeed, a clash of versions on the system vs
the one built by Sage is the most likely problem.
Could you please also try the branch of
https://github.com/sagemath/sage/pull/39030
as this is likely to be used in the next beta?
(it's a switch to meson, another build backend, for sagelib, and we
probably have a better control over this sort of issues there)
