I get alerts from "uptimerobot" when trac goes up and down. It was
down for 27 minutes, but is up now. Trac goes down for a while about
once a week. See attached screenshot with data for 2022.

I figured out how to get uptimerobot to share some of this information
publicly. We should add a link to this from the sagemath.org website:

https://stats.uptimerobot.com/G66v4T2v

Here's the cocalc stats too, which are pretty boring --

If you go here

https://stats.uptimerobot.com/G66v4T2v/776818201/calendar

to the last few months of 2021 you can see that overall our trac setup
is reliably unreliable.

Yes, it is back now. Is the once-a-week-down for a scheduled job (like cleaning database) or what?

I don't know if it is related but the last email I received from trac dates from Feb 3 whereas many tickets I participate in were updated since then. Am I the only one in this situation?

There are certainly a number of emails in the logs sent to you today
and on the 13th.
Probably Google is to blame - did you check your spam?

e.g.:

Feb 15 17:32:17 sagemath smtpd[68062]: 4a9c0b5afb4010e9 mta delivery
evpid=34c4523573446d54 from=<tr...@sagemath.org> to=<sla...@gmail.com>
rcpt=<-> source="46.23.90.47" relay="142.250.27.26
(ra-in-f26.1e100.net)" delay=1s result="Ok" stat="250 2.0.0 OK

In the spam they are! First time I see this in more than 10 years! Thank you.

I frequently have emails about sagemath in my spam folder and I have not find yet how to change the rules of gmail to avoid that.

Best,
David.

Can you send me a couple of such messages (complete with headers etc) so that I  can see what exactly goes amiss?

Dima

I think I must have done something wrong myself with my phone maybe by clicking "consider this as spam". Because the solution for me was to click "stop consdier trac@sagemath as spam" which solved the problem.

When you create a filter (at least in Gmail), you can click "Ne jamais envoyer dans le dossier Spam" if that may help.
