Hi,

I installed the new sage9.3 which according to release notes supports Mac OS Big Sur on intel machines. However, when I launch I get the the following error message:

“python3.9” cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified.

I did not encounter that problem with the app-versions I usually use, in particular with 9.2 (which however has other problems). When I was forced to install myself to get access with sage9.1 to some data computed with earlier versions I seem to recall there was an analogous error. However, an app-version of sage appears not to be available for version sage9.3.

How do I fix this? I searched for information on this but was unsuccessful.

Help would be very much appreciated.

Best,

Udo

This will get you Sage 9.3.rc4, almost identical to Sage 9.3.
The macOS app for Sage 9.3 should hopefully be available
in a week or so at:

Many thanks, Nathan and Samuel. I'll wait for the app version and if that doesn't work out I'lll try the beta release.

Best regards,

Udo
