Hello,

This email is aimed at the participants in the modular forms and L-functions
student summer school: http://wiki.modform.org/School2008

This school starts tomorrow (Monday, June 16, 2008) at 9am in the
Mechanical Engineering Building (MEB) room 238 at UW:

There will be bagels and other refreshments in the morning.

SCHEDULE:

9:00 -- 9:15 am Welcome and Orientation (William Stein)
9:15 -- 10:05 am L-functions Projects (Mike Rubinstein)
10:15 -- 11:00 am Modular Forms Projects (William Stein)

There is also a talk at 11:10am today by Rob Beezer about his open
source linear algebra book, which is part of Sage Days. You may
or may not want to go to that. It is in the same room.

There will be additional talks during the week by David Kohel,
Gonzalo Tornaria, William Hart, and Fredrik Stromberg. The
exact schedule hasn't been determined yet.
