Hello,

Short version:

Even if you have already done so, please asap send me your arrival and
departure dates for
Seattle in June as a response to this email. I will make hotel
reservations for you.

Long version:
It turns out that dorm rooms are not available during June 13-23, 2008.
However, there is a new place called "The Collegiana Inn" right near UW

http://www.lostinseattle.com/LIS/building/map_thecollegianainn.html

Each of their rooms are for 2 or 3 people and they have nightly, weekly and
monthly rates:

-----------------------
The Collegiana Inn
4311 - 12th Ave. NE
Seattle, WA 98105
(206) 732-3200

* Reservations & check-in times must be pre-arranged (please call
between 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mon-Friday)
* Nightly rates start at $60 plus tax
* Weekly rates start at $350 plus tax
* Monthly rates start at $1350
* 3 blocks from UWMC/Roosevelt shuttle; less than one mile from UWMC
* Inquire about parking with manager
* No elevator
--------------------------

I called and there is currently *plenty* of available rooms at the
Collegiana Inn -- in fact,
we could just rent out a whole floor. The key thing we need to know
now is exactly
how many people will be at Sage Days 8.5 / Dev Days 1 / the modular
forms workshops,
and when they will be there. As soon as I know that I'll make
reservations on Monday
morning for the Collegiana Inn for everybody.

I will book tickets shortly and expect to attend for the entire
time. My tickets will probably run through Vancouver at one end or
the other (probably the end), but that probably doesn't matter to you.

Thanks for getting us lodging!

Just for clarification, by "entire time" do you mean:
ARRIVAL: June 12
DEPARTURE: June 23

I'm pleasantly surprised so far about how helpful the UW staff are being
with this.

Both.

I listed the wrong dates. I meant June 13-27, not June 13-23. Thanks for
the correction.

Many people will only be able to attend some subset of the June 13-27 dates,
for some subset of the three workshops. What are the dates when you'll
be able to attend?

June 13 - 20: sage devel days 1
June 16 - 20: aimed at grad students -- modular forms and L-functions
June 23 - 27: aimed at researchers in number theory -- modular forms
and L-functions
