To compile a latex document using tikz and gnuplot, the flag -shell-escape needs to be added to the command line in the build tab. Is there any way to make this the default, rather than modifying the command line in every new latex file?

1. Make whatever settings you want, including your title, description, etc.

2. Save that file as ~/templates/linux/default.tex

3. All new files you create in this project will use that template.

This works for all file types.
