Problem with installing SAGA on Ubuntu 14.04 > libsaga_gdi-2.2.7.so missing

Hi,

I have downloaded saga 2.2.7 tarball from sourceforge, configured, compiled and installed. The process did not return any errors, but when I wanted to run saga_gui I get the following error:

$ saga_gui
saga_gui: error while loading shared libraries: libsaga_gdi-2.2.7.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

when i run saga_cmd, it works?

Any help, please?

Hi,

I am afraid you picked the wrong mailing list. While our software is
also named SAGA, it has nothing to do with GIS I'm afraid.

You may want to try your luck with the friendly folx over at
