I'll second that notion.

I didn't even get to enjoy it as long as you guys did, so I'll sprinkle a little bit of envy on top of this wistful sundae.

If you guys could play in something today, what would it be?

True enough. Play-by-email anyone?

Any new ideas?

At this point, with me taking a job in Kuwait, I'm down for anything - including email gaming! Doh!

Whoa, Kuwait huh? What's going on over there (besides the obvious)? When do you leave, and how long will you be there?

I leave in a little less than a month (documents pending of course), and I'll be there until at least next February providing I don't get sick of it sooner. :)

I could be persuaded to run a bit of an email game for everyone…? What's your pleasure?

Any idea what setting/theme/conflicts/complexity of story you'd be interested in?

I'm beginning to formulate ideas for a d20 Modern game set on the East Coast with a bit of a Dark Matter twist. If you don't have access to the core rulebook (I have a pirated copy on digital file, though my physical copy is at home), then I can walk you through character creation, etc. Character creation will actually help me to further plot the game, etc., so I can't really tell you much more about it at this point. Safe to say, the game will focus on RP and be heavily character-driven, if not covertly so.

If this doesn't sound interesting, just tell me (you won't hurt my feelings), and we can come up with another idea!

Who's in?

I miss you guys too. This was by far the best game I've ever been
involved in. Lance, even when you weren't with us, you were a major
reason for our enjoyment. You really set the bar high with Shaba, and
that was definitely a good thing.

Yeah, I'd be down with an online game. D20 Modern sounds cool.

You're too kind, Jeremy.

Looks like my my friend in Stockton, Aaron, is on board. I'll wait to hear from my brother before we move on, then I'll create a separate email thread for us to communicate by.

Stay tuned!

Hey guys, I don't think I can devote time to actually playing, but if
you're willing, I'd like to follow the game!

I do miss this game with you guys, too. It was the gold standard by
which I judge all other RP experiences.

As a side note, I am running a commoners game this Thursday, and am
working on self-publishing my steampunk campaign.

Would you guys want to playtest my steampunk setting?

Certainly. I'm still awaiting some players to get back to me on character details, but I'll keep you posted once we begin.

Steampunk? Uh, yes please.
