At the end of this discussion I'd like to know the exact point in time
when we will be starting the events of session 5, and I would like to
know your plans for that session.
Right now you're still in Griffon's Nest. Would you like to leave
promptly? If so, where to? Should we assume you did all your
travelling before session 5 starts?
OOC: as long as we're leaving the camp full of ORCS... I don't care where we go first. :)

FYI: It's about 170 miles to The Shining White (your destination) as
the griffon flies, from your current location. Judging by your
slowest horse's speed, and accounting for environmental hindrances,
going straight there through the Lurkwood would take you about 8 days.
It's about 300 miles if you go to the Long Road first, up to Miribar,
and then follow River Mirar NE to the Shining White. This path would
take you about 9-10 days, but be less dangerous (in theory).

I say we go straight there and brave the lurkwood.
OOC: we can send word to longsaddle via feather token or some other means if we want to keep the harpells and the church up to date on where we are.

OOC: Are we going straight there or back to Longsaddle first? On Feb 22, 12:08 pm, DM <iruntheg......
Clayton looks down at the ground and scratches his head and says "I think we should head out to the longload, I hear that there are horrible monsters out in the forest, and if any thing happens to stardust pa will kill me. I say a extra day or so won't make much of a difference.
Occ I want to buy ten holy waters. Is there something I can buy like a belt something so I can pull it out and use it in a single round?

Well, make your preparations! This place is so massive (compared to
Longsaddle, that is) that anything you could afford can be found
here. Young (and old) wizards alongside mage Macario Ledeau can
enchant items, smithies work arms and armor, and craftsman of all
types work wares. Have fun :D

As far as whom you buy it from, let me know which faith you're going
to buy holy water from. Every deity has slightly different effects in
his/her holy water. I've used these rules in the past, back when they
were on candlekeep.com, but I like what this guy has done with them.
Please use these variant rules for holy waters in this game (they
always do 2d4 to undead and evil outsiders, these effects are in
addition to that standard effect.) www.livinginafantasy.com/rpgfantasy/holywater/index.html
The clerics willing to sell holy water in Griffon's Nest worship:
Tempus, Hoar.

OOC: fine, we'll take the road. I keep forgetting that most of us are tenderfoot, greenhorn city slickers...;)

So post to this group whatever you buy. If nothing, say nothing. If
you want to buy something and keep it secret, let me know via
emaiil.
Chop Chop! I have planning to do! :D
P.S. Everyone cool with starting at 5:30?

OOC: Jer am I picking you up today? Are we getting together at 5-5:30?
About rations, 10 days there, 10 back, plus the time we spend there.
Make sure we have enough.
Also you can buy rations in Mirabar, if you want to buy them here and
there.
