Dear Members & Friends:

Attached is the weekly schedule of services and various programs, which are taking place at the Safra Synagogue.
                                  FRIday, DECEMBER 17^th, 2010 – TA’ANIT, FAST DAY, 10th OF TEBET

FAST BEGINS AT 5:49 A.M & CONCLUDES AT 5:55 P.M

 

THIS YEAR THE TA’ANIT WILL CONCLUDE WITH KIDUSH OF FRIDAY NIGHT.  

MINHA ON FRIDAY, WILL START AT 4:30 PM, FOLLOWED BY SHABBAT PRAYERS, WILL TRY TO GET HOME RIGHT ON TIME OF THE BREAKING THE FAST/ KIDUSH, WHICH IS AT 5:55 PM.  - TIMES ARE FOR MIAMI ONLY.

The Bet Hamikdash was destroyed over 1943 ago, may it be build in our days, Amen.

 

Last Shabbat we started with the new 9:00 AM -- FATHER & SON SPECIAL MINYAN, IN THE KIDUSH ROOM
The purpose of this new Minyan, is to enable the younger children and teenagers of the Synagogue, to become more involved in our beautiful prayers, and traditions. Our newly hired Youth Director, Rabbi Eliahu Bucay will be running this Minyan.
With the Father’s participation and support, this newly established program will be crowned with success
 
Attached is also the flyer for the Ladies Midrasha program, which contains the December 2010 schedule.
This coming Mondaynight at 8:00 pm, the lecture will be given by Rabbi Yaakov Yagen, from Lakewood-NJ.
