Hi,
As announced earlier, we have now started blocking all users of the API (including previously grandfathered users) from continuing use of the deprecated techniques of integration with the SafetyNet Attestation API.
All our users must now use an appropriately provisioned API key for calling the on-device API. Furthermore, use of the online response verification API for production-scale use (i.e. beyond 10,000 requests per day) will now result in quota errors.
Despite our efforts to notify most of the affected developers, we expect that any remaining apps that are still using these deprecated (and now unsupported) API integration techniques will start seeing permanent errors. These developers will need to correct their integration to continue meaningful use of the SafetyNet Attestation API. Our documentation already provides sufficient guidance to developers to help them in this regard.
