I haven't seen any of my surveys added in years. How are the updates to the map coming? Is there anything we can do to help?

Ted,

Thanks for asking about the updates.

The map is still in limbo. But we are working on a replacement and other options that work better/faster and easy to maintain.

One of the projects is at https://pelora.org/. That map combines a lot of data for Safecast and from other resources. Also, the real-time sensors of Safecast are displayed there. The code is very simple and modern. No tile maps as the old map of Safecast.  That map requires a lot of resources and computing time.

We are working on displaying the log files as soon as they are approved on this map too. Not like the old map, you had to wait at least 4 hours to see the logs showing up on the map.

I will keep you posted on the process. Sorry it talkies so long.
