Hi All!
I built this kit and it seems to work well, but how can I verify its accuracy? It seems accurate to 0.130 average in home radiation and 0.390 outside brick radiation. But how do I know that this is accurate? Also, how do I best update the firmware? I ordered a 6 pin to USB adapter, but is that all that I need to do?
Thanks!
Aaron

Hi Aaron-
Congrats!
bGeigie firmware has been constant for several years so no need to update or anything. It’s very rare for a device to be inaccurate, they were designed to either work or not work and those normal. The best thing to do is go log some data and then upload it to api.safecast.org and unless you hear from a moderator saying “OH NO WHAT IS HAPPENING?!!” then all is good.
