Unhappy bGeigie Nano

Hello,
bGeigie Nano #3209 won't boot up and at first glance it looks like the USB +5V pin on the Arduino FIO isn't coming up to the full 5V. I suspect the 3.3V regulator and LiPo charger IC. I disconnected the battery and removed the bGeigieCast module to lighten the load. Even then, the USB 5V pin sits somewhere around 3.4V.
Before I go all out and replace the FIO, does anyone have any hints as to what to look for next?

Oh never mind... It was the cable. The observations were the same on my own Nano with the same cable.
