with option for the tile map

i have a wish, 

i noticed we have the snapshot option into the tile map,

woulndt it be wise to expand this option a bit more, from 

jumping from one to the next snapshot, to something

let me say a new catastrophic event happens in a certain area were alot of measurements were taken bevore, 

knowing the actual tile map i know the new data will mixed under the old ones, so a uprise of radiation will take a looooong time to apear on the map,

if i have now the option to say i only want to see the last measurements taken from month x year x up to month y to year y, that would be great to just watch the current measurements, 

just a fix idea for emergency places...

wich i hope will never come and never be needed...
